I-Share
I-Share is an Online catalog currently containing records for over 8.9 million unique titles and over 31.5 million items. This is a resource sharing initiative consisting of over 75 Illinois colleges and universities. Library materials must be ordered from participating libraries through Inter Library Loan and will be delivered to the College by the Illinois Library Delivery System (ILDS). Delivery is usually within one week.  Borrowers will be notified by phone and the pickup location is the circulation desk in the library. Upon request, items may be mailed to online students who do not attend classes on-campus.

SILNET (Southern Illinois Library Network)
SILNET contains SIC's collection of books, CDs, and DVDs, which are located in the Library.  Also,
through SILNET, it is possible to search and order materials directly from the 80 plus online member libraries (public, k-12 and 10 community colleges).  You may access SILRC from any computer with Internet access by clicking on the SILNET link above. All you need is your library card and the last four digits of your social security number.  Delivery is usually within one week.  You will be notified by phone and the pickup location is the circulation desk in the library.

FirstSearch
The Statewide Illinois Library Catalog, which is part of FirstSearch provides searching options for every online library in the state of Illinois. Books, CDs, and DVDs found in FirstSearch much be ordered through Inter Library Loan and will be delivered to the College by the Illinois Library Delivery System (ILDS). Delivery is usually within one week.  You will be notified by phone and the pickup location is the circulation desk in the library. Upon request, items may be mailed to online students who do not attend classes on-campus.
