Southeastern Illinois College’s Communication program provides baccalaureate students a wide variety of transfer options as well as providing many skill enhancing classes for career and technical programs. From core courses like COM 121 (Public Speaking) and COM 144 (Interpersonal Communication) to major specific courses like COM 145 (Intercultural Communication), COM 221 (Argumentation and Debate), COM 246 (Performance Studies) and COM 146 (Business and Professional Communication), the rich curricula at Southeastern provides many options for our students.

SIC’s Forensic Falcons Speech Team (pictured) is approaching its 50th year has a 50+ year tradition with national awards each year. The team has earned the national championship three times (1986, 2005, and 2021) against much larger schools!
