Cooperative Agreements
Southeastern Illinois College participates in the state cooperative plan with other community college districts in the state of Illinois for the purpose of increasing student access to career and technical education programs. Illinois residents who reside in other community college districts and wish to attend a career program at Southeastern Illinois College which is not available at their home community college may do so under the State Cooperative Agreement. Students should contact their home community college to receive authorization to participate in the State Cooperative Agreement.
Southeastern Illinois College participates in the following specialized cooperative agreements with other community college districts. Students are encouraged to work with an Academic Advisor if interested in these programs.
Coal Mining Technology AAS degree is available to SIC students through a special cooperative agreement with Wabash Valley College. Students interested in this program should contact the Coal Mining Office on SIC’s campus, located in Robert I. Gregg Technology Center (G Building) Room 112, or call 618-252-5400, ext. 2360.
