Adjunct High School Health Occupations Instructor


Part-time position with primary teaching responsibilities in high school health occupations courses and coordination of health occupations programs in local high schools.  Instruction includes medical terminology courses, hygiene and first aid courses, and certified nursing assistance (CNA) courses.  The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communications skills and a willingness to work closely with in-district high school students and staff.  This position requires skill in instructional technology, on-line course delivery, and basic computer skills.


Illinois Registered Nursing license in good standing with at least two years of clinical experience.  Applicant must have current credential to teach Illinois CNA classes or be willing to successfully complete the Illinois Basic Nursing Assistant Training Program (BNATP).
