Administrative Resource Conservationist
Description
Full-time position to assist the Saline County Soil & Water Conservation District Board of Directors with day to day office functions as a receptionist, secretary and Resource Conservationist. Along with administrative duties, needs to be able to help with field investigations and surveying, design agricultural conservation practices, write farm plans, organize school activities, write quarterly newsletters, plan annual meeting, coordinate equipment rentals, prioritize and administer practices in the Conservation Practice Program and other office and field related duties.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree preferred, but not mandatory. Farm oriented background encouraged. Candidate needs to demonstrate a professional attitude which includes: self-motivation, creativity, team work, the ability to work for oneself, organizational skills, and confidentiality. The selected candidate must pass a personal background check with the USDA.

Based on qualifications and experience.
