Adult Education and Career Pathways Instructor
Instruction of adults and non-high school completion students in basic skills and career exploration to prepare them to take the General Education Development examination. Management of an academic classroom conducive to learning for students of different backgrounds, including monitoring attendance and encouraging student motivation. 16.5 hours per week. The schedule is as follows: Monday-Wednesday 8:00 am-1:30 pm.
A bachelor’s degree is required in special education or education preferred. Must have excellent verbal, math, and reasoning skills. Must have computer applications and word processing skills. Must have the compassion and understanding to relate well with people of all backgrounds and ability levels.
$28 per hour.
