Mount Vernon Ethanol Plant

 Maintenance Technician

Responsible for the repair and maintenance of the plant equipment, to ensure maximum production quantity and quality, while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the company.

  • High school diploma or GED required.  
  • Two years experience in the maintenance or repair of industrial equipment (pumps, valves, compressors, conveying equipment, etc.) required.       
  • Welding experience on carbon/stainless steel preferred.
  • Experience in the maintenance functions of a dry-mill ethanol plant preferred.
  • Experience in the use of hand and power tools preferred. 

 

I&E Technician

Responsible for the repair and maintenance of the plant equipment, to ensure maximum production quantity and quality, while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the company.

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Two years of experience in electrical or instrumentation maintenance and repair required.
  • Journeyman license preferred.
  • ISA certification preferred.
  • Programmable logic controller / Distributed control system (PLC/DCS) troubleshooting/programming experience preferred.  

Maintenance Planner/Scheduler

Working under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, this position will coordinate all maintenance activities and help develop job and safety plans to improve workforce productivity. The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler will be the liaison between maintenance, engineering, and operations to ensure all work activities are planned, estimated, and scheduled. This position will also provide leadership and guidance for the effective operation of the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS, using the SAP system).

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Three years experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, and estimating required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or Technical degree preferred.
  • Experience interpreting engineering drawings, equipment drawings, and piping and instrument diagrams (P&IDs) preferred.
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (i.e. SAP) preferred.
