Special Needs Coordinator

Description

Southern Seven Head Start has an opening for a partial-year, full-time (10 months) Special Needs Coordinator at the Administrative Building located in Ullin, Illinois. Job duties include but not limited to: Works in coordination with Service Team and Site Supervisors to ensure compliance of Performance Standards for the Special Needs and Mental Health service areas.

Qualifications

Experience working with special education and/or Mental Health agencies a plus. Minimum qualifications are Associates Degree in Special Education, Early Childhood or an approved related field degree with two (2) years full-time experience; Bachelor Degree in Special Education, Early Childhood, or an approved related degree preferred.  DCFS Background/ Criminal Check required.
