Vice President of Administration and Business Affairs

The Vice President of Administration is a member of the President’s Administrative Cabinet and reports directly to the President, and is responsible for the preparation and explanation of the annual budget estimates; College purchasing; collective bargaining with units represented at the College; supervision of the operation of buildings, grounds, and security; coordination of construction projects; responsibility for College operations under contractual agreement; direction of the accounting office; preparation of reports and financial documents required by local, state and federal laws; preparation of required forms for local taxing units in order to facilitate the collections of taxes; responsibility for investment of College funds; supervision of the accounting for income-producing activities and student organizations; assistance with the administration of the scholarship and financial aid program; and responsibility for building access and inventory control.  

Qualifications

Master’s in business, accounting, or finance and five years’ experience in a major administrative position required; public higher education administrative experience preferred. Must be able to successfully pass a credit background check.
