Bowling Fundraiser Set for SIC Softball Team

Fans of the diamond and the lanes will have a chance to double their pleasure with an upcoming bowling fundraiser to benefit the softball team at Southeastern Illinois College.

Ross Cottom Lanes in Harrisburg will be hosting the event on Sunday, Nov. 3. The entry fee is $100 per team, with four-person teams. The event will be a no-tap format, with two sessions, starting at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

The event will also feature a silent auction of baked goods, as well as additional snack items for sale.

Trophies – as well as SIC memorabilia – will be presented to the first through third place teams.

Proceeds from the event will help fund the softball team’s spring trip to Pensacola to play at the University of West Florida, as well as additional general expenses with equipment, field upkeep, and more.
