Math & Science Club Helps SIC Go Green
September 26, 2016
Things are getting greener at Southeastern Illinois College thanks to the Math & Science Club. The club has started a campus-wide recycling program for plastics and aluminum.
Last week, the club collected 25 pounds of plastic and 15 pounds of aluminum, and they hope to collect more as word spreads. Containers can be found in the library, cafeteria, theatre lobby, nursing lounge and in the upper lobby of A/B building.
Club sponsors are Jason Fitzgerald, Math & Science Chair; Aaron Poole, biology instructor and Aaron Aul, physics instructor.
