Harrisburg Medical Center recognizes SIC’s Nursing Program
In recognition of Southeastern Illinois College’s Nursing Program being ranked number one in the state for both the Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) and the Practical Nursing (PN) programs, Harrisburg Medical Center (HMC) congratulated the program by presenting a framed copy of the news article published in late February.
“Much of the success of our nursing programs is dependent upon the tremendous support that we receive from our community clinical partners,” said SIC Nursing Director Amy Murphy. “Their attention and commitment to our students and programs are invaluable components of the education process.”
Dr. Jonah Rice, SIC President added, “Southeastern is extremely proud of our staff and students for this recognition, and part of the credit goes to our great regional clinical support sites, and we are fortunate to have such a great relationship with Harrisburg Medical Center. We are so appreciative of their recognition of our program.”
