The Weeks Worth with Rachel Parish

Hello! It’s me: your friendly neighborhood High School Recruiter and Dual Credit Coordinator for SIC, Rachel Parish. And I’m here with some updates for the week of February 26^th to March 2^nd!

This week, I will be at the following high schools giving the ACCUPLACER placement test:

–        Harrisburg High School on February 26^th and 28^th at 8:15 a.m.

–        Carmi High School on February 27^th at 9:00 a.m.

The ACCUPLACER is a free placement test you can take multiple times. It helps get you scores that colleges look for when helping you enroll for classes and getting accepted into programs.

If you are not signed up to take the ACCUPLACER exam, but would like to, please ask your guidance counselor to get on the list before that day! Please try to talk to them a day in advance.

Also, the SIC Scholarship deadline is getting closer! Wednesday, February 28^th is the due date.
