Herrin Senior Jayden Vorhes signs with SIC Bowling Team

Senior Jayden Vorhes of Herrin High School has signed his intent to bowl for the Southeastern Illinois College Bowling Falcons for the 2022-23 season.

Doug Cottom, SIC’s Head Bowling Coach, is pleased to welcome Vorhes to the team.

“I began watching this young man his sophomore year and feel very good about him committing to our program here at SIC,” said Cottom. “His game has a lot of forward roll to it and it’s pretty straight which equates to having it in play almost all of the time. I feel very confident he will be a solid player for us the next two years.”

The Falcon Bowling Team has been competing since 2018, besting Division I universities in regional competition as a member of the United States Bowling Congress Collegiate Bowling.
