Career Exploration Camps are back at SIC June 14-17 for grades 6th – 8th! Choose from 4 camps – Criminal Justice, Welding, Diesel Tech, or Outfitter Wildlife Management. There are two sessions per day and students can choose one camp per session. Cost is $60 per camp for the week.
 
Criminal Justice Camp – 9 A.M. – Noon
Join an SIC Instructor along with Law Enforcement Officers as you learn:
How police K-9s and their handlers work
What is inside an armored vehicle How to use a firearm simulator How to process a crime scene
 
Diesel Tech Camp –  9 A.M. – Noon
Join an SIC Instructor along with the Diesel Club as you learn:
Hands on techniques with basic mechanical skills
The theory of internal combustion engines
How to assemble working engines
 
Welding Camp – 12:30 – 3:30 PM
Join an SIC Instructor along with the Welding Club as you learn:
Basic skills of welding Basic skills of torching Fabrication
Grinding
 
Outfitter Wildlife Management Camp – 12:30 – 3:30 PM
Join an SIC Instructor as you learn:
About wildlife populations and how to track them
Basic wildlife techniques and identification
Freshwater fishing

Note: Class sizes are limited and filled on a first-come basis. Sign students in and out of camp in room G120. Boxed lunches provided for students in two sessions.
