Ella Elizabeth Hise Museum of Regional Art
The Museum’s mission is: To honor Ella Elizabeth Hise and foster an appreciation for visual arts works, exhibits, programs, and cultural partnerships that celebrate southern Illinois and the surrounding region.
The SIC Concert Choir and the SIC Community Chorus hold several performances each year in the George T. Dennis Visual & Performing Art Center.
Cultural Arts Series
The Southeastern Illinois Cultural Arts Series has been bringing quality cultural experiences to Southern Illinois since 1979. Performances range from musical groups and theatrical shows to dance groups and authors.
High School and Jr. Falcon Productions
SIC welcomes area high schools to perform their productions on the stage of the George T. Dennis Visual & Performing Arts Center Theatre between SIC performances. SIC's Junior Falcon Productions offers an opportunity for children from around the region to come together for a big musical production (or two) each summer.
Southeastern Illinois College has a long history of theatrical performances, since long before the George T. Dennis Visual & Performing Arts Center Theatre was built in 1996. Now the 450-seat theatre hosts four major SIC productions a year, music concerts, Cultural Arts Series shows, Jr. Falcon Productions’ summer children’s shows, plus regional high school productions, local events and more.
