Men’s Basketball

The Southeastern Illinois College men’s basketball team has a long history of success and tradition, with multiple trips to the national tournament and hundreds of alums moving onto the NCAA Division I, Division II, Division III and NAIA level. Falcon alum, Donta Smith, was drafted to the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks directly from SIC. The Falcons feature 14 scholarship spots and play a highly competitive schedule of teams from NJCAA, NCAA, and NAIA institutions. The focus for the SIC men’s basketball team is to help its players gain exposure and experience with the goal of moving onto four-year institutions.
