The Southeastern Illinois College (SIC) website privacy statement applies to the College’s primary domain name, all its sub domains, and any other website owned and operated by the college. Each of these collectively is referred to as the SIC Website. SIC strives to protect user’s privacy to the fullest extent allowed by law and meet the college's mission. SIC will make efforts to ensure that changes to this privacy statement are reflected on the SIC home page. However, the failure of SIC to post changes to this privacy statement shall not prevent any changes to it from becoming effective in any instance, whether retroactively or prospectively.

All transactions through MySIC are encrypted. Additionally, when making online payments through MySIC, credit card and bank information is not stored on servers operated by SIC.

Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)

To comply with COPPA, children under the age of 13 should not submit any information to SIC without parental consent.
