CANCELED – SIC Holds Virtual Job Fair April 21
*THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED DUE TO LACK OF PARTICIPATION.
Southeastern Illinois College will be hosting its first virtual job fair live Wednesday, April 21, from 9 a.m.- noon. The fair will be open and active for 30 days, closing May 20.
Students and job seekers should register in advance and upload resumes to share with the employers at www.sicvirtualcareerfair.vfairs.com.
Job seekers of all types will have an opportunity to survey the employment field, network and perhaps take a step toward a new future. Attendees can expect employers from a variety of areas and industries, including health care, industrial arts, and criminal justice. The event is free for job-seekers, but registration is required.
“This new, virtual format will allow job seekers to register and upload resumes then submit to employers they are interested in pursuing,” said Lori Cox, associate dean of workforce and community education. “During the live portion, employers will be available to answer questions and share information about job openings and their businesses.”
