Student Success Center Assistant
Description
The Student Success Center Assistant is a full-time position that plays a vital role in supporting student achievement by overseeing the daily operations of the Student Success Center and managing all aspects of testing services. This position requires a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to providing excellent customer service to students, faculty, staff, and the community.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills (oral and written), the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a positive, professional attitude while maintaining confidentiality.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily operations and scheduling of the Student Success Center.
- Coordinate and administer placement testing on campus and assist with testing at off-campus locations as needed.
- Collaborate with instructional departments in the coordination and administration of testing programs.
- Manage scheduling and administration of testing services, including (but not limited to): Nursing TEAS, HOAE, WorkKeys, CLEP, CNA, and additional assessments as assigned.
- Attend training sessions and professional development opportunities as required.
- Maintain evening office hours on an as-needed basis for testing and student follow-up.
- Enter placement test scores into the College’s student information system accurately and promptly.
- Conduct assessment activities to evaluate the effectiveness of the Student Success Center and Testing Services.
- Assist in program review processes related to the Student Success Center and Testing Services.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in a related field required.
- Strong organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to provide outstanding customer service and maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and student information systems preferred.
Salary
$27,000-$30,000
