SIC Holds Pink Out Game on Feb. 23 to Raise Money for the Cure

Southeastern Illinois College is hosting a Pink Out Game to benefit the Susan G. Komen Passionately Pink for the Cure ®on Feb. 23.
The event starts at 5 p.m., and the Lady Falcons take on Shawnee Community College at 5:30. Falcon men play at 7 p.m. Fun events will fill the half-time shows and between games, including some dance performances by Tumble Time Cheer & Fitness in Carmi, the Falcon Cheerleaders and a free-throw raffle to win a large basket of items donated by local businesses.
There will be kids’ games for 25 cents, face painting, hair extensions and more. Special Pink Out shirts are available now for a $10 donation at Integrated Health, Dream Baskets, Unique Boutique, Hair Tech, the SIC Student Center and the SIC Nursing Department. Admission to the game is free for guests wearing the Pink Out shirt to the event.
Additionally, the Lady Falcons will recognize their 5-year-old water girl, a brain tumor survivor, in a special ceremony between games.
