Wisconsin Native Joins SIC Falcon Archers

Hunter Miller, a Wisconsin native, has signed his letter of intent to join the Southeastern Illinois College Falcon Archers for the 2022-23 academic year.
“I can’t wait to pursue the next level of archery,” says Miller.
A Hortonville High School graduate, Miller is a member of Inside Out S3DA and practices at the Old 45 Archery Range. He has been shooting archery for 11 years and was the Badger State 3D Champion and Badger State Indoor Champion along with being a member of the NFAA. Throughout high school, Miller also participated in football, track, bowling, and soccer.
SIC head archery coach, Ricky Sauls, says, “Hunter is a very solid shooter and will be a great asset for the Falcon Archers. He has been shooting and competing for a long time and understands the game very well.”
Miller will major in Criminal Justice at SIC and plans to become a police officer.
The SIC Archery Team started with a small group of students as a pilot program in 2011. Since that time, the Falcon Archers have won national awards against Division I universities, added an indoor facility and indoor team, and host high school tournaments. The team is a member of USA Archery and ASA Archery. For more information about SIC’s Archery team and facilities, visit www.sic.edu/archery or contact ricky.sauls@sic.edu or 618-252-5400, ext. 2248.
