SIC Bowling Announces Exciting Additions to Men’s and Women’s Teams

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
HARRISBURG, IL– Southeastern Illinois College Bowling is proud to announce the signing of two talented athletes to its Men’s and Women’s teams for the upcoming season, further solidifying the Falcons’ roster.
Autumn Morley, hailing from Collinsville High School, joins the Women’s team, bringing a wealth of experience and skill from one of the state’s top girls’ bowling programs. Morley recently led her team to a remarkable 4th place finish at the state tournament under the guidance of Head Coach Sean Hay. Coach Doug Cottom expressed enthusiasm about Morley’s addition, stating, “We really like Autumn’s game. She is strong and can handle the different lane patterns she will experience in college. I feel really fortunate to get her. She will step in and play a lot.”
Noah Arnold, a standout from Harrisburg High School, joins the Men’s team as a dual-sport athlete, also committing to play baseball at SIC. Arnold, who played anchor on the state runner-up team at Harrisburg High School, has been praised for his temperament and skill set by Coach Cottom, who stated, “I feel so fortunate that Noah has decided to stay close to home and join our program. He was penciled in the 5 spot in the lineup all year for a very, very good Bulldog team. He has the temperament and the skill set to really do well at this level. Look for Noah to contribute a lot in the next 2 years.” Arnold will reunite with former Bulldog teammate Eli Fromm who is finishing up his first year at SIC>
Morley and Arnold’s additions to the teams are expected to bring depth and talent to the men’s and women’s team both, enhancing the Falcons’ competitiveness in collegiate bowling. They join a strong program and will contribute to its continued success in the upcoming season.
The SIC Falcon Bowling Team, formed in 2018, competes on a national level under the governing body of the U.S. Bowling Congress Collegiate.
