The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (“CARES Act”) provides emergency funds for students financially impacted by the COViD-19 pandemic.

Accordingly, the following information must appear in a format and location that is easily accessible to the public 30 days after the date when the institution received its allocation under 18004(a)(1) and updated every 45 days thereafter:

Automatic award to Pell recipients who were enrolled on March 13, 2020—students were awarded $44.68 per credit hour. This amount was derived from dividing a portion of CARES Act funds by the total number of credit hours these students were enrolled in. 2. Application process available to any eligible student who was enrolled on March 13, 2020—SIC Foundation Scholarship Committee will review applications and determine Emergency Financial Aid Grant awards. |
