Nursing Program
Why is our program the one for you?
97% of SIC’s Practical Nursing program students and 100% of SIC’s Associate Degree Nursing program students passed their licensure exams the first time upon graduation in 2022! Those who plan to continue their education and earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing leave fully prepared to take that next step.
This kind of success can only be attributed to the outstanding dedication of SIC’s nursing instructors to prepare students for success. At SIC, you will find that our faculty spends countless hours both inside and outside the classroom to serve as professor-mentors, not just teachers.
You will find that our programs provide concentrations in specialty areas like pediatrics and obstetrics. In addition to classroom instruction and in-depth training, students are exposed to a wide variety of clinical settings and patient populations within the community as part of their curriculum.
More nurses are needed.
Today, more nurses are retiring than are entering the nursing field, so it is a great time to become a nurse. More than a 6% increase in the number of registered nurses is expected between 2021 and 2031. (Source: www.bls.gov)
