Five Area Students Receive SIC Music Scholarships

Southeastern Illinois College’s Music Department has awarded scholarships to five talented high school graduates who will bring their musical abilities to the SIC stage this fall.
Recipients include:
- Cale Warfield, Pope County High School
- Jenann Woods, Marion High School (also joining the SIC Speech Team)
- Isabel Rister, New Hope Christian Academy
- Thomas Cash Ward, Gallatin County High School
- Ridge Chappell, Gallatin County High School
“These students have demonstrated outstanding musical talent and a commitment to growing as performers,” said SIC Music Instructor Cory Garmane. “We’re excited to welcome them into the program and see how they continue to develop their skills here at SIC.”
The students will perform in a variety of vocal and instrumental ensembles as part of their scholarships.
